After the lights go out.

What will we wake up to on Wednesday, Nov. 5th?  After what seems like the longest election in our history, the next four years will begin on that day.  The lights of the campaign, the glitter, the polls, the crowds will be in the past.  The winner will start gathering together the people that will run our country for the next four to eight years.

If the outcome is that President McCain and and Vice President Palin are headed to Washington, I will feel very confident about our future.  We know the records of both of them and we know with whom they associate.  But what if it is Obama who is headed to Washington?

Tomas Sowell wrote yesterday:  "Performance is where Barack Obama has nothing to show for his political career, either in Illinois or in Washington.  Policies that he proposes under the banner of "change" are almost all policies that have been tried repeatedly in other countries-- and failed repeatedly in other countries."  A perfect Storm

It will be ironic if, as other countries are turning to more conservative leaders, we elect the most liberal man that has ever run for President in America.  And, not only that, but on Nov. 5th we might have given our government over to the socialists that have been trying to take it over for decades.

Sowell states:  "The economies of China and India began their take-off into high rates of growth when they got rid of precisely the kinds of policies that Obama is advocating for the United States under the magic mantra of "change."

We have the power to stop Obama and his allies on Nov. 4th.  Let's not wake up on Nov. 5th with a precarious future staring us in the face.  We know where that future leads.
