Obama fatigue

Remember when after 8 years of Clinton there was Clinton fatigue? It had been all about Clinton all of the time. 8 years of scandals.  The country had been focused on Clinton everyday. He was the news. And, no matter what Clinton did, the media and the Democrats stood behind him. While scandals and gossip occupied our thoughts, people were planning Sept. 11.

President Bush took the oath of office and went to work. He didn't care about being the hot topic of the day. He wanted to get things done, and wasn't concerned about who got the credit. He didn't get in our faces everyday defending himself from the attacks by the media and the Democrats. He has been harshly criticized by conservatives for not defending himself. But he wasn't like Clinton, it was never about him, it was about the country and Bush went about doing the country's business.

Today, President Clinton is one of the most admired men in the world, and President Bush is the most hated man in the world. Now the question is: What do we really want in a President?

It seems that Obama is another Clinton, even bigger. Once again, he is the news. It's Obama mania all of the time. However, polls have recently indicated that Obama fatigue is setting in. Could it be that Americans are discovering that we don't want the most popular man in the world to be our President?

I hope that the answer is YES!
