Last night on Brit Hume the panel was discussing the Bush legacy. They mentioned that each President is remembered primarily for one big thing. Bush's legacy will be Iraq and the War on Terror. The panel agreed that if things continue to go well in Iraq, Bush's legacy will be immense. Fred Barnes added that the fact that we have had no attacks on our soil since 9/11, nearly 7 years, will not go unnoticed by historians.
I started thinking about President Clinton's legacy. The one big thing that he will be remembered for is his Impeachment and Monica Lewinsky. And now if things continue to go well for Obama, the fact that Mr. Clinton's wife lost his own Party's nomination for President to a smooth-talking slick communicator, the one that Rush has calls the "first black Clinton," will not go unnoticed by historians.
All in all I think Bush wins the legacy fight.
Bush most under-rated president ever
